Mid Autumn Festivals and Mooncakes

In Asian, there are many different festivals, each celebrated with its own unique traditional foods.
Among them, the Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most significant. The mooncake is the symbolic food of this festival, representing reunion and togetherness under the full moon.
There are various types of mooncakes, but the most traditional and popular variety is made with lotus seed paste and salted egg yolk. However, as tastes and trends have evolved over time, custard mooncakes have become the modern favourite during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
1. Lava Custard Mooncake – Similar in ingredients, but when warmed, the creamy custard filling flows out, releasing a delightful aroma of coconut and custard.

2. Traditional White Lotus Seed Paste & Salted Egg Yolk Mooncake 🌕
Smooth, fragrant white lotus paste meets rich, golden salted egg yolk —
a perfect balance of sweetness and savour. Crafted with traditional artistry,
it embodies harmony, reunion, and the timeless taste of Mid-Autumn.

Although custard mooncakes are traditionally enjoyed during the Mid-Autumn Festival, I can freshly prepare them to order for customers throughout the year.

Mid-Autumn Festival Pastries
In addition to Lava Custard Mooncakes and traditional Lotus Seed Paste Mooncakes, the Mid-Autumn Festival also features a delightful variety of flaky pastries. Popular flavours include red bean and sesame, among others, offering something for every taste. These pastries also make wonderful gifts for family and friends during the festive season.
